Well, Hello Again! {A Holiday Update!}

I know, I know.  It's been FOREVER since I did a real post.  What can I say?  Life is just crazy sometimes!  Although I feel like I should back track to update on everything that has gone on in the past few months, I'm just going to pick up with the most recent/important events.  Otherwise, I doubt anyone would ever actually get through reading this entire post. :)

In Houston....

We celebrated our first birthday in the house in November!!

And I had a successful attempt at my first number-cake sans Dad.

We set up our first Christmas tree,

and table!

I made bows for the garland on the banister...with inspiration from Aunt Cheryl. :)

The Baird Houston Christmas came to our house!! And so did the ever adorable Holt!

And Christmas here meant having to find dining space for 14 people...yikes!

We all had fun with our new stockings...including Reese!

Then, we moved on to Dallas...

Our second annual Christmas cookie extravaganza was a success!!

The puppies were nice enough to pose for us in their various Christmas outfits. :)

The Christmas Eve Santa showed up early with...

Pajamas!!

We had our annual Christmas morning stair pose.

And we were even blessed with a White Christmas! ...Texas style, of course!

My birthday was celebrated!  And I'm embarrassed to admit that I *almost* forgot my tiara....

 Back to Houston...

We had friends over for New Year's Eve.

 And used our china!!

If you made it this far, I'm impressed and hope you enjoyed!  Hope you have had as wonderful of a holiday season as we have!!

Love, Sara :)

  2. Yea, I'd like one of those cookies, but what I really want to know is how did you get all those dogs to pose for that great picture! Love the fun you have with the season. :-)
